Anne Archer (born August 24, 1947) is an Academy Award-nominated American movie and TV actress. Archer was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of actors Marjorie Lord (nee Wollenberg) and John Archer. Archer's first major film role was opposite Jon Voight in the 1970 film The All-American Boy. Archer also appeared in Robert Altman's 1993 film Short Cuts as a woman who performs at children's parties as a clown. ore recently Archer has appeared in recurring roles on several television shows.
