Astrid Munoz (born 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican model. She was the first of three siblings; her father, Teodoro was a nuclear engineer and her mother, Astrid, a retired executive secretary. When Munoz was 14 years old, she was offered an opportunity to model in Spain, but her mother objected. In 1993, when she was 19 years old, Munoz went to Miami to visit a friend; while there she met a modeling agent who suggested that she model in France. Munoz is currently divorced and works exlusively for the modeling agency IMG Models NY-Paris.
