Kiron Interactive's deal with Dafabet secures expansion in Africa
A recent deal with leading Asian online betting and gaming site Dafabet will allow Kiron Interactive to expand into Africa.
The leading provider of virtual games and gaming systems, Kiron Interactive, will provide several of its virtual races, including car racing, horse racing and dog racing, to a private online gambling company based in the Philippines for its retail and online operations in Africa. Dafabet, which is the flagship brand and subsidiary of AsianBGE, recently began expanding its global presence by entering the African market and starting operations in Kenya. Dafabet is bringing betting sites Uganda to meet its goals in Africa.
The deal between Kiron and Dafabet comes amid Kiron's expansion into South America with lottery and gaming solutions provider Impresora Internacional de Valores (IVISA), which is licensed by Argentina. Under the terms of a six-year deal struck in March, Kiron will supply its virtual sports products to 500 IVISA syndicated retail and online outlets, as well as more than 135 lottery parlors in Argentina.
Kiron Interactive's CEO, Steven Spartinos, said: "We are always looking for strong partnerships in new and exciting regulated territories, and that is exactly what we have achieved with Dafabet," the press release said. Spartanos continued: "Continuing our growth on the African continent with an established brand like Dafabet is an exciting prospect that we are confident will yield excellent results, especially in the rapidly evolving online and mobile betting space in Africa."
Dafabet regional operations director Louis Watts added: "We are excited to partner with Kiron and are confident that their quality games will help us stand out in Kenya, where we are entering the African market for the first time. "Offering something fresh and high quality when first entering a new market is very important, and we are confident that Kiron's excellent games will do just that," Watts said.
Kiron Interactive, founded in 2001 as a developer of virtual online horse racing betting and skill games, leads the industry with its technologically advanced platforms and provides real-time visualization of virtual sports events. Kiron's virtual gaming products have been successfully deployed on several platforms, including the Internet, satellite broadcasting, mobile and WAN/LAN environments, and slot machines. Kiron uses the latest animation along with proven gaming systems, allowing the Johannesburg-based company to grow and become a leader in its field.
